Improving Accessibility Between Downtown & Uptown

You are invited to attend an open house to provide input on the Washington and Walker Street Sidewalk Project. The open house will be held onsite at Courthouse Park and is weather permitting.

Project Overview

This project will connect safe pedestrian access to Sims Way, the Jefferson County Courthouse, the adjacent park with sport courts, and connectivity to the Uptown post office and business district beyond. The project is slated for construction in fall 2025 and is funded by a Transportation Improvement Board grant.
