City Records

The City has a responsibility to maintain and preserve all City records, as well as provide access to the public.

The City’s Public Records Officer is responsible for managing City records; keeping the City in compliance with the State records retention schedule; and respond to record requests in compliance with the Public Records Act.

 

Public Records Requests
Public Records Requests submitted under RCW 42.56, the Public Records Act, should be directed to the City’s Public Records Officer. These requests include records for police public records, building and land use permit records.
