Visitor Center Frontage Improvements and Artwork Installation
Construction of the Visitor Center frontage improvements and artwork sculpture was completed in November 2019. The scope of the project was to improve access to the Visitor Center, provide additional parking and create a public space in the triangular parcel of property between the Visitor Center and Sims Way. This new public space includes landscaping, new sidewalk, benches, and a large-scale sculpture by the late artist Russell Jaqua, called "For Willene"
Dedication of the art sculpture was November 2, 2019, at 4:00 p.m.
The Contractor on this project was Interwest Construction, Inc. out of Burlington, WA.

$50,000 Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC)
$850,000 Total
